Hello my friends, Cascadians, Burners, and Freakazoid Robots!!!
I'm feeling beautiful this morning as the sun shines brightly asking me to go out and play.
I'm feeling this way because there are wonderful waves and currents flowing around our networks, and communities.
The year is getting underway and I'm feeling very excited about the momentum.
I'm also buzzing with glee this morning, because last night I spent an hour on the phone with an original member of The Cacophony Society & The Suicide Club. He was very straight up and has a solid perspective.
One very funny irony I drew from our conversation was that Guns brought two very different kinds of people together in the Desert back in 1990 to 1994. If it wasn't for Guns there would be no Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert.
(No Joke, True Story, I know "Ironic in the extreme").
This conversation gave me a fresh and solid perspective from which to reflect upon.
After this wonderful conversation, I'm coming to many positive conclusions today, and feel very comfortable about my personal direction in the coming months and years.
I look forward to the creative adventures ahead.

While I'm not sure if I will be attending Recompression, and I'm still deciding on how I might forge a positive relationship with the GVIAS; I'm definitely looking forward to participating in the following list of activities over the next few months.

Location: The ARC (Powell and Commercial)
Burn BC presents "Jam Night"
I am very happy to announce that Burn BC is hosting a "First Friday of the month Jam Night" at the ARC.
This is open to people that want to get creative in a social setting.
It is not limited to Music either.
This will be a free form jam of music, art, and whatever you feel like getting creative with.
We will be experimenting with conducted jams, as well as playing with various creative mediums.
Snow Dragon and I plan to host creative workshops during the Jam.
We are also looking into presenting video and multimedia experiments by artists that attend.
Our first Jam will be Friday March 7th (8 till late)

Date: April 18th
Time: 8 to 2am
Location: Waldorf
Wow, this is going to be a good one.
We are reserving all three rooms of the Waldorf, and will be creating an outdoor space on the Patio.
This means we can drink outside.
So far on the confirmed list we have some wild stuff happening.
* Live PA
* Live Music
* DJ's
* Spoken Word
* Art
* Fire
* Performance Art
* and other surprises to come.
Participation is highly encouraged.
Costumes are always fun, (but not required).
It's going to be a blast!
Were we will need the most help on for the Spring Fling will be.
The Door, Decor, ART, and potentially Coat Check.
So if you want to get creative, have a good time and share something let me know.
If you want to help with a Zone, let me know.
Planning will begin next week.

"Searching for negative ions and filling the Void."
Date: May 15-19 or May 22-26
Time: Early to Late
Location: A very large mystery location around Cranbrook
The BC Ion Society has expressed interest in conducting an Ionic Adventure into the Abyss.
We will be heading out into a wild, open and alien environment, searching for negative Ions and filling the Void.
We don't know where it will take us or what will happen.
The unknown awaits.
If we find a place in the great beyond that is suitable for cohabitation and co-creation.
It will become the future home of.

Location: Commercial Drive @ Gravely
Burn BC is organizing a pod for the Car Free festival on commercial drive.
What we are looking to do is create a "mini-burn" in the intersection of Commercial & Gravely.
We are inviting artists, theme camps, and organizations, to set up around the intersection.
We will manage an interactive stage and host music.
Some really cool ideas have already come out of our initial inquiries.
More on this will be posted soon.
The first thing we will be looking for is.

The brain child of Snow Dragon, she wants to facilitate a weekly community space, with music, fun and Breakfast.
Initially her idea is that we get together in Grandview park, with DJ's and breakfast on Saturday or Sunday Mornings.

This one has been in the mix since last year.
We're looking to create an environment that invites our community members to play, share, and enjoy a festive environment.
Most likely it will happen at a location that can transition from a day time to night time event.
Yesterday I spoke with a person who's been wanting to create something in a similar vain.
We are talking about a potential cooperative project.

Inspired by the San Francisco Valentines Pillow Fight, "The First Saturday of Spring" Pillow fight that started in Vancouver, has gone international.
New Mind Space created www.pillowfightday.com to post the cities participating in this.
It is very exciting that Vancouver created something, set it free and now it's taken root.
Tell EVERYONE, to be there.
It is now official: No one organizes it, everyone spreads the word.
It is now a beast of it's own and a yearly tradition that takes place on the First Saturday of Spring.
